This policy describes how Business Math Lab handles information when you use this website. It is written to describe this site's current application behavior, not a generic privacy template.

Calculator inputs and results

Calculator inputs and calculations are handled in your browser by the calculator implementation. Business Math Lab does not intentionally send calculator inputs, result values, amounts, percentages, free text, or user identifiers to Google Analytics 4.

You should avoid entering information you consider sensitive unless it is needed for the calculation you choose to perform.

Standard server and access logs

Like most websites, this site may process normal technical request information in server and access logs. Examples may include IP address, request time, requested path, user agent, response status, referrer, and operational or security information. These logs help operate, troubleshoot, and protect the site. This policy does not promise a fixed log-retention period.

Analytics consent preference

This site stores your analytics choice in first-party browser storage using the key businessmathlab_analytics_consent_v1. The stored value is only used to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. It is not a calculator input, calculator result, advertising profile, or user account.

Your choice remains until you change it through Cookie Settings or clear browser or site data.

Google Analytics 4

Business Math Lab uses Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-QCVP5HGPH6, only after you choose Accept Analytics. Rejecting analytics does not disable calculators, guides, or site navigation.

GA4 is used to understand aggregate usage and improve calculators, guides, navigation, and technical quality. After acceptance, Google may set analytics cookies and process information such as page path, page title, referrer, browser and device information, approximate geography, engagement information, and the whitelisted generic calculator-action metadata described below.

The site strips query strings and fragments from analytics page-location data. The site does not intentionally send calculator inputs, calculator results, money amounts, percentages, free text, or user identifiers to GA4. At launch, the site does not intentionally enable Google Signals, advertising personalization, remarketing, user-provided data, or cross-domain measurement. Google may still process data according to its own policies and service behavior.

Calculator-action analytics events

When analytics has been accepted and the Google tag has loaded successfully, the site may send a calculator_action event for a small set of generic calculator actions: loading an example, resetting a calculator, copying a result, or changing a calculator mode. The only parameters are calculator_slug, calculator_category, and action. The event does not include the values entered or the result shown.

Choice management

The consent prompt offers Accept Analytics and Reject. You can reopen the same preference controls later through Cookie Settings in the site footer.

If you revoke analytics after previously accepting it, this site updates consent to denied, stops future analytics events from this site's code, attempts to remove first-party GA cookies for the current hostname, and may reload the page so the resulting document no longer has the Google tag loaded. Revoking analytics is not a promise that previously transmitted GA4 data has been erased.

Outbound links

Some pages link to other calculators, guides, or external resources. Once you follow a link away from this site, that destination's own privacy practices apply, not this policy.

Email communications

If you email smartulethtb@gmail.com, that message and any information you choose to include in it are used to respond to you and to fix or improve the site.

Purpose of use

Information described above is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, measure, and improve this website and to respond to messages sent to the contact email address. It is not used by Business Math Lab for advertising, remarketing, profiling, or resale.

Security

Reasonable, standard precautions are used to keep this site and its infrastructure secure, but no website can guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from children.

International visitors

This site is intended for an international audience. By using it, you understand that technical request information and optional GA4 analytics data may be processed on infrastructure located outside your own country.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
